| Your First Time | It was at a blogger party at Min Jung Kim’s house. Jason Strauss was there from jasonunbound.com and he had these hoops and he handed me one. Hours went by and I didn’t stop hooping until the sun was coming up and he took it away. |

| Fire? | The first time I fire hooped was in the backyard at the home of Jason Strauss in Berkeley, California, with a bunch of other fire virgins from Bay Area Hoopers. Since then I have no idea how many times I’ve lit up. I have tremendous respect for fire and hope I always will. There’s something pretty magical about fire hooping. |

| A Favorite Hooping Memory | Teaching a class of 200 students leg hooping at the NW Hoop Gathering in Bend, Oregon. There was a stage in the middle of the gym and I was completely surrounded with students. My online interactions through Hooping.org with everyone are very important to me, but when you’re there doing it live and people are so excited because they’ve gotten something from you they’ve really wanted to learn and you can see that look of accomplishment on their face – that’s truly a favorite hooping memory. |
